Winner of the Outstanding Spokesperson on Faith, Science, and Stewardship Award
Dr. E. Calvin Beisner is national spokesman for The Cornwall Alliance for the Stewardship of Creation, editor of the Cornwall Alliance’s electronic newsletter, and author or co-author of several major papers and articles on global warming produced by the Cornwall Alliance.
A theologian and historian, Dr. Beisner has also become well-versed in the science of global warming as well as in how the issue gets handled in religion and politics. He has testified before the U.S. Senate Environment & Public Works Committee, briefed the White House Council on Environmental Quality, and spoken at a Vatican conference on climate change.
